Affording a Bridgeview Montessori Education
(2025-2026)
Bridgeview Montessori's Commitment
We believe strongly that children who attend Bridgeview Montessori School are well on their way to becoming lifelong, independent learners. We also hope to make learning at our school a reality for as many children as possible. Our financail aid program exists to help assure that any admitted student with demonstrated financial need will have the opportunity to attend Bridgeview Montessori School.
How financial aid is AwardeD
Bridgeview Montessori, a nonprofit school, partners with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial aid process. This company compiles your information and then sends both you and us a report indicating what you can afford to pay in tuition. If your report indicates need, you WILL receive an aid grant; however, we cannot always match the exact need that SSS indicates. To begin your financial aid application, please complete SSS’s Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. Because our financial aid application due date is Thursday, March 20, well before the April 15 income tax due date, you will have to plan accordingly and complete your taxes early. We also recommend that you review the wide range of materials that SSS has put together to help families with the financial aid process.
After you submit your PFS, SSS will compute a Report of Family Contribution (RFC). This report along with your PFS are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee and serves only as a guideline in making financial aid decisions. The Financial Aid Committee consists of the Director of Admissions, the Head of School, and the Business Manager. All reports and supporting documents are held in strictest confidence by only our Director of Admission, Head of School, and Business Manager.
In order for your family to be considered for a financial aid award, your child must be engaged in the application process, admitted to and/or enrolled in Bridgeview Montessori School secured with your $500 enrollment deposit for the 2025-2026 school year, and (if a returning student) you must be current with tuition payments and Before and After Care payments.
FOR FINANCIAL AID APPLICANTS ONLY: If the financial aid awarded still does not make it possible for your child to attend or if no financial aid is awarded, the $500 enrollment deposit can be refunded to you. However, you must request this refund in writing by the date indicated in your financial aid letter.
Financial AID FAQs
To Learn more about the aid process:
Contact our Director of Admissions Suzanne Lawson via 508-888-3567 or via email at slawson@bridgeviewmontessori.org.
What happens if the parents are divorced or separated?
Bridgeview Montessori School believes that parents have an obligation to pay for the education expenses of their children to the extent that they are able. The Financial Aid Committee will consider the assets of both natural or adopted parents as well as stepparents. Please discuss particular circumstances with the Director of Admissions if you have questions regarding this.
Is financial aid automatically renewed each year?
Bridgeview Montessori School requires that families receiving financial aid reapply each year through SSS. Changes in such things as income, family status, and the number of children attending tuition collecting institutions may result in increases or decreases in an award.
When will I be notified of my award?
Families will receive notification of any award in mid April.
Who do I contact if I have any questions?
Please contact Suzanne Lawson, Director of Admissions.
